« Towards distant realms »

( piano concert-readings )

Honoré Béjin, piano

Naty Garcia Guadilla, narrator

Naty Garcia Guadilla and Honoré Béjin present a musical, poetic, and philosophical journey around the theme of travel—a journey that is not only geographical but also existential and memorial.

Through words and notes, this concert-reading weaves a dialogue between poets and composers, each celebrating the notion of travel in their own unique way.

From Baudelaire to Machado, Prévert to Gerbasi, voices rise to express wonder, memory, exile, loss, and hope. In counterpoint, Chopin, Debussy, Albéniz, Villa-Lobos, and others extend these sentiments through evocative soundscapes that alternate between intimacy and solemnity.

Spilliaert Trio

piano, violin, cello

The discipline of the string trio with piano is particularly demanding, and its perfect balance requires a deep knowledge of each instrument. The choice of the Spilliaert Trio, with Trio No. 5 in G minor Hob XV1, highlights a great delicacy, very Mozartian but also an astonishing virtuosity and lightness…

January 28, 2023

The next concert on January 28, 2024 constitutes an excellent opportunity for me and for the entire Salon Bugrane team to present to you our best wishes for the year 2024 which begins…

The first concert of the year is a beautiful symbol: that of the joy of transmission, because the teacher plays with his student!

Indeed, Haïk Davtian, a magnificent violinist, is also a wonderful teacher. He will play with his very promising student Henry Cattenoz.

Haïk Davtian establishes a very strong bond with his partners and students and gives them the enthusiasm and confidence that allows them to fully live their passion.

This capacity for musical sharing is also linked to his second job: conducting. He actually conducted the Strasbourg CRR Orchestra before directing the Cergy-Pontoise CRR Orchestra after Andree-Claude Brayer ‘s departure.

You will also discover the excellence of the pianist Jina Minerbe, who with talent and brilliance will musically highlight the two violinists!

We are happy to be able to let you hear these three beautiful artists in Brussels…
