The artists :

Nadia Ratsimandresy,

Ondiste , Professor of « Ondes Martenot » and  « Ondéa » at the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt

Born in Paris, she discovered the « ondes Martenot  at the age of 9 in the class of Françoise Pellié-Murail at the music school of Evry.

Graduated from CNSMDP (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris)  in 2002, she devoted herself to chamber music and live performance. The trio 3D (wave, classical guitar and soprano), Volta (two ondes, electric guitar and percussion) or the quartet Hendriks (quartet of ondes) are adventures that allowed the creation of new pieces (Jean-Marc Chouvel, Colin Roche, Frederick Martin).

In addition to her chamber music activities, Nadia is developing a unique solo repertoire for ondes and electronic processing in real time: Mimetic (aka Jérôme Soudan), Sarah Wery, Carl Faia and Zeena Parkins have dedicated pieces to her. This work is supported by Why Note production and Caesaré, National Center of Music Creation. She is also a member of Art Zoyd, Blinded by the Dust and works regularly with pianist Cécile Thévenot.

Nadia Ratsimandresy is professor of artistic  teaching ondes at the Regional Conservatory of Boulogne-Billancourt.
