Bach – Sonata in G major \nPerformers:\nPascale SIMON – traverso \nYun KIM-FERNANDEZ – baroque violin \nFrançois FERNANDEZ – viola da spalla \nSonia FERRO – harpsichord \n  \n  \nThis newly formed ensemble brings together longtime friends who have come together to honor the great TELEMANN and to present a rich selection of his magnificent writing. \nTo close the program\, you will hear the Sonata in G major by J.S. Bach. \n  \nGeorg Philipp Telemann\, \nentirely self-taught on more than ten instruments\, was also an autodidact in composition. \nThe latter was considered far more difficult than playing instruments! \nHe left us around 6\,000 works\, of which fortunately about 5\,000 have survived. \nThe quality of his music is incredibly consistent\, although some of his pieces have stood out more than others. \nThis is the case with the “Quadri” and the “Parisian Quartets” featured in the program of October 12\, 2025 at Salon Bugrane. \n\n
